Impresario Joe West invites audiences to experience terror, taboo and titillation during the two-week run of Theater of Death: Virus!!! Beginning on October 21st and concluding on October 30, this selection of original one-act plays explores the macabre horror and cathartic humor arising from the Coronavirus quarantine. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 pm with matinees at 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. An additional performance will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 pm.
This new iteration brings fresh excitement to Theater of Death’s trademark vaudeville blend of music, camp, and inventively spooky effects. Previously held in the Engine House Theatre in Madrid, Joe West and his cohorts have now created their own theater inspired by the tradition of a circus sideshow. The new tent is a cozy canvas paradise, located right off the patio of Beer Creek Brewing Company, south of Santa Fe on Hwy 14, and allows audience members to enjoy a delicious dinner and fresh beer before they step into another dimension.
